Experience:
o 12 months of role experience is required.
o 12 months of Speech-Language Pathology experience is required.
Requirements:
o Candidates must have a license in hand at the time of application.
o This role will require floating to multiple units o Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

Additional Details:
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities.
The following are considered acute care facilities:
Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Required:
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology.
Preferred:
Pediatric Experience Bilingual in Spanish is preferred On- call 1x a Month Position Details:
The Speech Language Pathologist position at NIHD is about 98% outpatient and 2% inpatient/acute.
Outpatient:
Approximately 60-70% pediatrics (all diagnoses and ages) and 30-40% adults (mostly post stroke or other neuro diagnoses).
Usually 1 outpatient MBSS per week.
Inpatient:
We have very few patients in our inpatient setting who require SLP, but the most common diagnoses are acute stroke or other neuro conditions (all adults).
Rarely to never do we have pediatric patients for SLP in acute care.
